Captain Entprima - Chill & Relax

As the Entprima Jazz Cosmonauts approached more and more socio-political topics in their development, our ecosystem began to totter. Entprima was supposed to stand for “Soulfood”, and dealing with the unpleasant topics of our world does not always nourish the joy of living. So we had to develop counterweights to this. Now “Ambient Music” is not new territory in the world of Entprima, because already in the first story “Spaceship Entprima” there was the music producing coffee machine in the diner of the spaceship, which already produced ambient music.

However, the genre has now become huge and fragmented into dozens of different styles. A look into the encyclopedia WIKIPEDIA gives a nice overview of the history and the current state of the genre. After the first production of Captain Entprima we don’t know where the journey is going, but the purpose of the music is clearly relaxation and meditation. The artistic development will show which music we ultimately consider to be best suited for this purpose.

After the second production we will also create a release note for the already released first EP “The Blue Cavern”. Until then, we recommend the homepage of the artist unit Captain Entprima for further information. Afterwards you will of course find links to the streaming services for this EP already here.

We like to name our offers “Soulfood”

Apart from our stories and music releases we still have one or two things to say. These messages are sometimes interesting for one person and sometimes for another. We don’t want to divide it up thematically and call it “fanpost”.

If you are interested in our world of thoughts, it won’t bother you to find out about things that don’t directly concern you. At least we hope so.

Listening instructions for my music

Music is also fundamentally an art form. All art forms have offshoots in the form of “commercial art”. Paintings are produced as wall decorations for homes and music is also sold as acoustic background music for everyday life. Some artists react to this practice by linking an artistic claim with this social attitude. Andy Warhol’s “Pop Art” is an example of this. Art critics and curators, who are supposed to be an aid to interpretation for art lovers, initially find it difficult to deal with such works because they are strongly linked to art history. This is why innovations in art are often promoted by art fans. That’s why I’m addressing you directly, dear art lover.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and emotions

The use of artificial intelligence in music production has become a hot topic. On the surface, it’s about copyright law, but hidden within that is the accusation that it’s morally reprehensible for artists to make use of AI in production. Reason enough for a concerned person to take a stand on this. My name is Horst Grabosch and I am a book author and music producer at the Entprima Publishing label.

Censored by Apple

When asked by the distributor, the album violated an Apple rule: “it is considered very generic for Apple Music, so it can have many copyright overlaps”. Since the album is an acoustic meditation and soul journey and comes under the genre “New Age”, I did some research and found dozens of albums with recordings of singing bowls. What is more generic than the recording of a sound body without additional structured content? The 13 tracks of my album are clearly highly artfully arranged and very different pieces of music. What is the problem?
