Entprima Jazz Cosmonauts - Space Ship Entertainment

This is the last release inside the story of Spaceship Entprima, which deals with historical recordings. This recordings were not made on board of Spaceship Entprima, but imagine a performance on board of Spaceship Entprima inside the first musical event there.

The recording is a big solo feature for guitar player Markus Wienstroer, who made a career as member of famous German pop groups like the band of Marius Müller-Westernhagen. Markus shows all his fantastic abilities in this tune. It is a benchmark for guitar technique and abilities as an improviser.

Originally recorded in the last century, this tune is as well influenced by the story, which we today tell as “The Story of Spaceship Entprima”. The composition is predicted by some musical parameters, that were fixed as a base for an improvisation. It was a try on the way to a new approach of creating jazz music, and this is the very first take of the tune in the recording session.

As mentioned in a chapter of the story, called “First Music Event”, the actual release imagines a performance in the diner room, which is an important information to understand the additional ambience sounds, and all further releases, which are imagined to be created on board of Spaceship Entprima.
