Entprima Jazz Cosmonauts Symbol

“Field of Love” makes rudimentary use of the recitative and aria form. In the two recitative passages, a recitative by Johann Sebastian Bach from the St Matthew Passion is quoted in the accompanying parts. The song is spiritual in a way because the hope for the scientifically unimaginable is described. What is meant, however, is rather the emotional side of hope as a counterpart to the despair at abuse of children. The abuse of children is a terrible crime against humanity. Whether it is sexual abuse, the use of child soldiers or other mental cruelty, there is no excuse for it. We are left only with the sweet hope that love will ultimately win the race.

Lyrics

Come along, fly inside and feel that field of love

On our odyssey through space, we reached an oscillating field that took up the entire field of view

There seemed to be no way around it and we were very afraid

The closer we got, we could hear children’s voices singing incessantly.

You need not be afraid

Come in, we won’t hurt you

Here live souls of abused children who wanted nothing more than love

When you wish for something so fervently, it comes into being

This is the field of love

Come along, fly inside and feel that field of love

Come along, fly inside and feel that field of love

Come along, fly inside and feel that field of love

Fight for Empathy

After the story of “Spaceship Entprima” and the stage play “From Ape to Human”, the Entprima Jazz Cosmonauts were free for a new task. The decision was made for a permanent, socio-political task – the fight for more empathy in this world.

Empathy logically excludes racism, fascism, injustice, greed and all other evils of human behaviour. And when we speak of fight, we include determined resistance. We will not leave our children a world worth living in if we allow ourselves to fall permanently into romantic transfiguration or meditative retreat.

Nevertheless, every person needs a balance for his soul. If we respond to hate with hate, we will fail miserably. But we are many! If everyone does his part in daily life to improve the situation, we will win.

Make sure that you always remain powerful in your mission and avoid confrontations that harm your soul.

Making of

Information

The idea of the cosmic field created by the longing for love of abused children’s souls dates back to 1997 and is part of the story of the last CD “Alltage” by sound artist and former trumpeter Horst Grabosch.

On an odyssey through space, the cosmonauts arrive at this field that cannot be bypassed. The compulsion to fly through this field is the decisive factor in the scenery. It changes lives! Empathy changes from an option to an inevitable part of being human.

But as the child’s voice says, “You don’t have to be afraid, we won’t hurt you!” It is a redemption, and thus a spiritual motive. Unfortunately, abuse of any kind has become a part of almost all religions, so calling it a religious motive is out of the question.

Of course, it is no coincidence that the song appears shortly before Easter, and it is also no coincidence that a recitative from Bach’s St Matthew Passion is quoted. It is even less of a coincidence that the song comes along in a context of contemporary pop music.

In a time when painting black and white is becoming fashionable again, it is important that people learn to endure apparent contradictions again. Those who listen carefully, however, will realise that contradictions are only created by our patterns in our heads, which make life poorer than it could be.
