Our Way of Communication

Captain Entprima Backstage

When I decided in 2019 to become artistically active again and to produce music, there was of course the task of ensuring the dissemination of my music, because art is worthless without an audience. When companies and artists advertise their products, this can be summarized under the term “promotion”. So I set out to identify trustworthy promotion opportunities. This search turned out to be tedious because there are hundreds of promotion agencies and channels that do not always work with means that match my intention.

Social media channels have become one of the most important digital promotion tools available today, and dozens of providers such as Facebook, Twitter and others are vying for users’ favor. The channels have the reach that artists need to promote their art. Every social media user has made his or her choice at some point, and is an avid user of Facebook, TikTok or other services. In order to stand out from the competition, each service has developed its own style and its own forms of communication and rules. For the advertiser, this means that he or she must comply with that style and those rules. This leads to a dilemma for small businesses or individual companies, such as artists. At some point they are faced with the question of whether they want to devote more time to their art or their advertising, because lifetime is not divisible.

I don’t feel like submitting to the dictates of the channels. I want to communicate with people, and I would like to leave it up to everyone to choose how and where they collect their information. I want to know who you are, and I want to know each one of you by name and not anonymously. On the channels, everyone can do what they want, because I do not make these rules, but I will do my best to communicate with you.

Often I will try to lead you to this website, because of the high-quality translation tool to reach out to you you  in your native language. From the website the respective posts are distributed in english to the social media channels, so that everyone can use their service of choice to follow my information.

The Founder

My name is Horst Grabosch and I am the mastermind of all projects presented on this website.

I was born in the largest coal mining area in Germany, known as the “Ruhrgebiet”. After school I worked as a professional musician until I was 40 years old. This time is well documented on WIKIPEDIA

After a burnout I had to give up my job, moved to the south of Germany, to the Munich region, and did an apprenticeship as an information technologist.

Another burnout forced me to rebuild my existence again, which collapsed just because of the corona crisis. In expectation of poverty at retirement age, I began to build a second career as a musician in 2019.

Listening instructions for my music

Music is also fundamentally an art form. All art forms have offshoots in the form of “commercial art”. Paintings are produced as wall decorations for homes and music is also sold as acoustic background music for everyday life. Some artists react to this practice by linking an artistic claim with this social attitude. Andy Warhol’s “Pop Art” is an example of this. Art critics and curators, who are supposed to be an aid to interpretation for art lovers, initially find it difficult to deal with such works because they are strongly linked to art history. This is why innovations in art are often promoted by art fans. That’s why I’m addressing you directly, dear art lover.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and emotions

The use of artificial intelligence in music production has become a hot topic. On the surface, it’s about copyright law, but hidden within that is the accusation that it’s morally reprehensible for artists to make use of AI in production. Reason enough for a concerned person to take a stand on this. My name is Horst Grabosch and I am a book author and music producer at the Entprima Publishing label.

Censored by Apple

When asked by the distributor, the album violated an Apple rule: “it is considered very generic for Apple Music, so it can have many copyright overlaps”. Since the album is an acoustic meditation and soul journey and comes under the genre “New Age”, I did some research and found dozens of albums with recordings of singing bowls. What is more generic than the recording of a sound body without additional structured content? The 13 tracks of my album are clearly highly artfully arranged and very different pieces of music. What is the problem?
