Pop music is usually the ideal companion for shopping orgies in the well-known cheap stores for teens and twens. However, this song can spoil the mood, although it comes across quite poppy. It reminds us a bit of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" and that's not exactly well-behaved either. "I Wonder How Strong I Could Be" is about the questionable production conditions of the fashion industry. In particular, the two aspects of environmental destruction and the exploitation of wage workers are addressed. Typical for the author Horst Grabosch are almost inconspicuous cross-references to completely different topics. For example, the intelligent, singing coffee machine "Alexis" from the stage play "From Ape to Human" makes a guest appearance. "It's a little hard to understand what you are singing, Alexis, but for a machine not that bad" says the commentator at the end of the song. A special form of humor.
